How many times have we thought about it – there are so many more needs than it seems we have resources?
Your mailbox is full of solicitations from charities, the TV is filled with heart-tugging pictures of big-eyed sick children, limping veterans, and mistreated puppies and kittens. Every internet search is accompanied by ads for either methods to make dark circles under your eyes less noticeable or to contribute to end poverty and homelessness as we know it. It never ends!!! Is this the way it is supposed to be?
This week we will look at Isaiah 61:1-11,1 Thessalonians 5:12-24 and Luke 1:47-55 to understand more about what what God’s call to a world that is needy and hurting might be.
