Hidden in Plain Sight  |  March 13, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m
Alcohol and other drugs can be easily hidden in a teenager’s bedroom. Do you know where to look? Do you know what you are looking for? Do you know what to do if you find something?

Representatives from the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office and Hanover County Public Schools will be at New Hanover to reveal abuse trends, give tips on how to talk to your teen, and discuss what to do if you find indicators. A teenager’s bedroom is replicated to allow parents to “snoop” around looking for drug use indicators and hiding spots.  This is a free initiative of Teens Care Too and Hanover Cares, and is open to everyone in the community.

Child care and light refreshments will be provided.  Register at https://tinyurl.com/HIPS313 or call 804-564-6119.  See Maureen Earley if you have questions.
