Every week, the Shepherd’s Way Relief Center hosts a hot meal to about 100 homeless men and women. On Monday (Feb. 12). we are providing the breakfast and we have all of the ingredients. The center has asked us if we can also provide orange juice and fruit. We want to be able to give this essential food and drink to everyone who comes in for the breakfast, so we need help to get these items by Sunday (Feb. 11.)
Please drop-off orange juice or fruit at our church by Sunday. Our office is open until 4 p.m. today (Friday) and we will be at the church on Sunday morning. If you have any questions, please email Stacey at email@example.com.
Thank you for your support to help these homeless women and men.
What is the Shepherd’s Way Relief Center (SWRC)?
The Shepherd’s Way Relief Center, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit community development center founded by members of Love of Christ Fellowship Ministries Church as a faith-based outreach ministry.
The center hosts community’s impoverished in a number of ways:
This is a hot meal they serve each week in their dining room, which seats about 100. The meals are prepared and served by a wonderful volunteer groups and volunteers who dedicate their time and resources in order to be a blessing to others.
Emergency Food Pantry
The center maintains a modest supply of canned and dry goods that they give out to neighbors in need. Many of the people they help do not have the ability to cook, so the pantry consists of ready-to-eat foods such as peanut butter, vienna sausages, instant soup bowls, canned ravioli, tuna, crackers, etc.
NOTE: NHPC is collecting vienna sausages this month to give to the center.
The center provides clothes and shoes as they receive them from donors. These items are given away for free and nothing is sold. Donations of gently worn coats, clothes, and shoes are greatly needed and appreciated.
