“Evangelism in the 21st Century” Series

24 Mar 2019 | 10:30 am

Join us at 10:50 a.m, on Sunday, March 24th, for the first Adult Sunday School class in a three-week series designed to make us all more confident in sharing our faith with others.

In this enlightening series “Evangelism in the 21st Century,” Christopher Sparks, our Seminary Intern, will help us consider and understand what evangelism means — and the obstacles to effective evangelizing.

In his outline for the series, Christopher noted that for many today, “evangelism can be a frightening word. It conjures up images of being assailed by someone with a Bible tract, and has made all of us overly-sensitive about sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and how that good news is making a positive impact in our daily lives. His goal for this series is to put evangelism in its proper perspective and to help us all feel more comfortable in expressing our faith.”

Using presentations, discussion and videos, there will be three sessions:

March 24     –   “Unbinding the Gospel”

             March 31     –   “Magnetic Evangelism”

             April 7          –   “Speaking Christian”

We look forward to you joining us for these classes on an important and timely topic!
