Holy Hops!, the New Hanover Men’s group, meets for conversation, dinner and fellowship at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Men of all ages enjoy the opportunity to gather informally for fellowship and discussion of a book on some aspect of Christian living. A recent series focused on Paul’s Letter to the Philippians, and its meaning to us today, using the book “Paul for Everyone” by well-known Biblical scholar N. T. Wright. Currently the group is reading Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.

All men are welcome – no reservations needed, nor does one have the attend every Holy Hops! gathering.  The participants encourage one and all to join them for awesome discussion, prayer and fellowship.

The location for the Holy Hops! gathering has varied over time – including at the church, at a local restaurant, or more recently at a member’s home. For information on the location of the next Holy Hops! get-together, please contact Carolyn Shute at the church office, carolyn@newhanoverpres.org.
