Costly Love

Posted on 30 Dec 2018

We Christians talk about “love” a lot! In his letter to the church at Colossae, Paul calls love a “bond of perfection,” because it holds our hearts together, not piecemeal, nor merely in shared interests or in part, but rather through and through, among all people, and in all things. Reflecting on Paul’s words, Martin Luther declared love to be a “jewel of surpassing beauty.”

We Christians talk so highly about “love” because we realize that Love became incarnate in Jesus of Nazareth. True love requires real investment. So, what does this mean for our personal relationships? I invite you to come and hear the good news.
