The WOW women’s group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We start with a devotion, and then work on a mission project. Join us at our next gathering as we begin a study on the book “Braving the Truth” by Rachel Held Evans. Sarah Saturno will lead the discussion. Pizza is on the menu! Later, we’ll sort the Project SAF books we’ve been collecting and ready them to be delivered to Real Life.
Past projects include 1) making blankets for Jill’s Blankets, 2) boxing up food for the RVA Community Fridges , 3) making Christmas cards for a local Seniors’ home, 4) packing up clothing donations for Real Life, 5) making “Birthday Bags” to give to local food pantries in the area, 6) making “Blessing Bags” for the unhoused, 7) making “Activity Bags” for the children of IRC. Join us for an informal time of yoga here at the church. We’ll meet on the first and third Monday, in Hanover Hall, March 18 through May 20. The class starts PROMPTLY at 6 pm. All you need to bring is a yoga mat, and an optional water bottle. Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.
Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, and increasing flexibility and range of motion. Calm your mind, feel alive and revived.
There is no charge for the class. No experience is necessary. The class will be led by Carolyn Shute. For more information, contact Carolyn.

Ball of Fire Entertainment, known throughout Richmond as the premier Trivia Entertainment company, will present Trivia Night at New Hanover Presbyterian Church, bringing live interactive comedy, music, specialty games, and general fun for our congregation, pre-school, friends, and neighbors.
