Join us for after worship on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 11am, as we gather in the Commons to pack backpacks for refugee students coming to the Richmond area with support from the IRC (International Rescue Committee), one of our Mission Partners.
We’ve been busy collecting back to school supplies since early September, in anticipation of our party. Thanks to everyone who’s supported this effort!! Come worship with us on Sunday morning and then stay for the party. Refreshments, music and games will spur us on as we organize school supplies and pack them into backpacks for students in elementary thru high school grades. This is a great opportunity to engage YOUR kids and teach them about unselfish love.
We’ll collect supplies through Friday, Oct. 4. On Saturday, we’ll organize everything so that by Sunday, we’ll be prepped to get the backpacks packed and ready to be delivered to the IRC.

Join us for an informal time of yoga here at the church. We’ll meet on the first and third Monday, in Hanover Hall, March 18 through May 20. The class starts PROMPTLY at 6 pm. All you need to bring is a yoga mat, and an optional water bottle. Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.
Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, and increasing flexibility and range of motion. Calm your mind, feel alive and revived.
There is no charge for the class. No experience is necessary. The class will be led by Carolyn Shute. For more information, contact Carolyn.

Ball of Fire Entertainment, known throughout Richmond as the premier Trivia Entertainment company, will present Trivia Night at New Hanover Presbyterian Church, bringing live interactive comedy, music, specialty games, and general fun for our congregation, pre-school, friends, and neighbors. Get your team together and join us here for a family-friendly evening. Or just come and we’ll match you up with others to make a team!

Join us here at New Hanover, at 6:30pm, for bible study and fellowship. We continue our study of 1 Timothy. Following our meeting, we will head over to Marty’s for dinner and more fellowship.
